At Escola Pedra da Gávea, much like the educator Loris Malaguzzi, we believe that children are made of "a hundred languages"—and the kitchen is a space for listening, tastes, stories, habits, and memories.
We understand that the "language of food" evokes emotions, sensations, and feelings, helping to build memories and strengthen bonds.
We also believe that a healthy eating habit should be constructed from early childhood. That’s why our students are introduced a balanced, natural diet from the start. Our menu is carefully prepared by a nutritionist, with a fundamental focus on eliminating processed foods.
